New characters are introduced whom I'm sure will play a part later.Overall this is better than the first book IMO. The trial of the traitors from the first book is happening although there's not too much detail about that. Here Mia is astounded at the Krinar's advanced technology. They have now arrived at Lenkarda one of the Krinar's settlements.

Review 2: ALIEN LOVEWhat I liked about this second book in this series is, how it follows on exactly from book 1 it's almost as though you've just turned the page. Could you imagine hot ads aliens coming to earth and living with us and one falling in love with you while throwing you in t h e middle of a brewing war and you don't really know who's who? Love it The author put a lot of thought to the k's history and technology. I don't usually like sci fi meets romance but I like reading how the relationship between korum and a human blossom.
